The kingdom of Shun is one of the four "outer" kingdoms and located southeast of the kingdoms on the mainland. The kingdom itself is known its precious stones and springs.
While previously stable, Enki believes that the kingdom may be struggling with youma from the unstable Kou Kingdom. However, Rikou suggests it is too soon to tell if the Shun will fall because the monarch of Shun has only had a forty year reign, and the monarch seems relatively capable of moving the kingdom in a good direction in spite of recent troubles.[1]
Little else is known about the kingdom, though Rakushun notes that most parts of Shun do not allow hanjyuu to attend university or serve as public servant, similar to the circumstances in Kei before Sekishi's ascension.[2]
