Kyou-Ou (驕王) was the posthumous title of the ruler of Tai who proceeded Gyousou. He ruled for 124 years and was given the title Kyou-ou (the Arrogant King) for his wanton indulgence in the arts and useless things. Nevertheless, Kyou-ou was not the least foolish with regards to administration. He was a conservative ruler whose reign was strong.[1]
