(Not to be confused with Kyokai).
Kyokai is a Kiki and one of Kourin's Shirei. In the novel he is described as a giant black dog. In the anime he is white with small colorations under his eyes.
Kourin orders him to kill Youko, but in both novel and anime he dies by Youko's blade. Kourin is very upset when she finds him passed away and cries over his body in the novel.
