Kogou (鉤吾) is a Youma large enough for two people to ride on its back. The novels describe a kogou as resembling a leopard with rusty fur, though the anime depicts it with an appearance closer to a wolf.[1]
Keiki's shirei, Hyouki (驃騎), is a kogou.
