Ikuta (生田) is a short-tempered teacher at Kaname's high school who serves as an English teacher and the soccer coach. During Kaname's first year of high school Ikuta was his homeroom teacher. On the day of closing ceremonies for the third school term of that first year, Ikuta loses his temper with Kaname and yells at him. Realizing what he's done, he asks Gouta to take look after Kaname's affairs at school. He dies later that day when he crashes into a curve. The investigation showed that there had been no attempt to apply the brakes or turn the car away.[1]
In the anime he is the art teacher. He sees Kaname painting another fantasy picture and fusses at him, telling him to paint more realistic pictures. He dies shortly after that.
