Gotou (後藤) is one of the two chemistry teachers at a private school in Japan that Kaname Takasato attends and the homeroom teacher of the second year class six (Kaname's class).[1] Gotou is also the art teacher of the art club at the private school and likes to casually paint.
He once taught Hirose when he was a student attending the same school and now is his mentor as he is a student teacher now. Gotou has a tendency to leave everything spread out, which can be perceived as messy by others.[2]
