A Letter (書簡, Shokan) is the twenty-second episode of the Twelve Kingdoms anime series. The episode is a standalone, occuring between the second arc Sea of the Wind, Shore of the Labyrinth and the third A Great Distance in the Wind, the Sky at Dawn. It is based on the short-story Shokan.

Youko Nakajima exchanges letters with her friend Rakushun as they adjust to major changes in their lives: Youko, as the new ruler of the kingdom of Kei, and Rakushun as a student at the daigaku in the kingdom of En.
